Reima Al-Jarf is a professor at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she has taught courses in EFL, ESP, linguistics, and translation to graduate and undergraduate students. She has 6 books and about 100 articles published in refereed international and national journals. She has given 145 presentations, 28 workshops in 35 countries.  She has reviewed journal articles, translated books, grant proposals, faculty promotion research and vetted 150 international conference proposals. She is a member of 22 professional organizations and serves on international and national committees and journal editorial boards.

In 2008, she won the best Faculty Website Award (over 5000 KSU faculty), the Excellence in Teaching Award at the university, college, and department levels.
