Allison Smith has been working for the past four years as an ESL Instructor at UAE University in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. Prior to that, she worked for the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces in the same capacity for three years. In addition, she spent four years teaching EFL in South Korea at various universities and institutions.
Allison has a Masters degree in TESL/TEFL fro
the University of Birmingham (UK), a BEd degree from the University of Toronto (Canada), and a BA degree from the University of Guelph (Canada). In addition, she has obtained the Cambridge RSA CELTA certificate and is a qualified IELTS examiner.
Allison is married to David Litz (also and ESL instructor at UAE University) and has one daughter, Penelope Sharon Litz. Allison was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
