Welcome to the
First Module.
This Module is for those who have not taught
English before as a Foreign or Second Language.
Before
we get to the classroom, we want to introduce
you to the ways you can get into the profession.
It may seem like this is a very difficult profession
to get into, but in fact you will find by taking
simple precautions, you will find yourself working,
possibly for a very long time, in a very rewarding
profession which can take you to the 4 corners
of the globe.

to help him/her get a job. Read this web page
which gives you an overview of what can be involved.

Your
assignment:- There are two parts.
(a)
List 3-5 sites where you might find a teaching
job. Do these sites provide you with the information
you need - list the information you would need
to decide whether to accept that job.
(b)
Chose one job at Random
- Apply for that job and send your Application
to us - Include
the Job details that you have copied from the
web
(c)
Preceding your Job Application, provide a list
of questions to the employer (hypothetically
us in this case) that you would like answered.
(d)
Then prepare your Job Application.
This
can all be done in the one document
