Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Teacher self- efficacy, as measured by Teacher Efficacy Scale developed by Tschannen-Moran & Hoy (2001), and students’ motivation, as measured by Schmidt (1996), and Gardner (1986). The study also investigated the relationship between teacher efficacy and students’ achievement. Three hundred and fifty senior high school teachers and 1700 students in ten different cities in Iran participated in this study. For data collection, three instruments were used: Teacher Efficacy Scale, Students’ motivation scale and an Evaluation form. Data were analyzed through Pearson Correlation.
